* Two Mowed Down By BJP MLA's Car In Karnataka* Bengaluru: Two people were mowed down and three others injured by a car in which senior state BJP leader and MLA C T Ravi was travelling near Kunigal in Tumakuru district early Tuesday, police said.The victims, who had come in two vehicles, were standing by the roadside when the accident occurred, according to the first information report.The injured have been rushed to a hospital, they said.Ravi said he was sleeping in his car and was on his way to Chennai from Chikkamagaluru along with his gunman."I realised that something happened only when the air bag opened and I stepped out. * Oil Tanker Crashes Into Two-Wheeler; Two Persons Killed* Hyderabad: A road accident occurred in Hyderabad in the early hours of Tuesday. Two persons were killed in the mishap which took place in front of the Railway Degree College in Tarnaka.The victims have been identified as Naveen (44), and Nagaraju (32). According to the details, the duo's two wheeler was hit by oil tanker from behind. The driver absconded soon after the accident.It is also reported that one of the victims was run over by the tanker and the other sustained severe injuries after falling on the road.Naveen succumbed to the injuries and died on the spot while Nagaraju was declared brought dead at the Gandhi Hospital. A case has been registered against the driver by the Lalaguda police who have seized the vehicle.
