The NBW Team of CCS arrested an absconding accused by name

On 16-02-2019 The NBW Team of CCS arrested an abscondingaccused by name 

Pagadala Rakesh Kumar, 40 yrs, R/o Habsiguda, Hyd, presently

residing in Bhopal, M.P. State in a cheating case and was absconding for (8) years. The
Accused involved in 2 cheating cases of CCS Hyd in the year 2012 & 2016 and two
other cases of Cyberabad police stations limits.

On the complaint of D. Satyanarayan and 3 others against
P.Rakesh Kumar and J.Veerabhadra Rao who offered to sell flats at Nizampet. On
which the complainant and 3 other victims have paid an amount Rs.64 lakhs to
purchase 5 flats. After receiving the amount to construct the apartment, both the
accused raised the initial basic structure and abandoned the work. Giving false
promises to now and then to complete the apartment, both the accused had diverted the
funds to develop their other business. Meanwhile, the land owner N.Subramanyam
Verma observed the deceitful nature of the accused and non-completion of the
apartment, he took the land and cancelled the agreement with the two accused as his
interest was also affected because the 10 flats which was under the agreement remain
incomplete for more than three years. Since then, the accused neither returned the
money nor handed over the flats.

While the investigation is in progress, J.Veerabhadra Rao was
arrested on 11.07.2011 and remanded to Judicial Custody. Later, P.Rakesh Kumar
arrested on 31.08.2012 and released on bail. While under trial P.Rakesh Kumar
became absconding by jumping bail and the Hon’ble Court issued NBW against him.
Rakesh Kumar is also wanted in another case of 2016 of CCS Hyd. He also wanted in a
case of cheating of Ghatkesar P.S. In another case of Chaitanyapuri P.S. also he
involved and went for a compromise in Lok Adalath with the complainant.

The accused was absconding and 2 NBWs were pending from long
time. After working out the clues, the NBW Team of CCS with the assistance of
Technical Team of CCS apprehended the said accused Pagadala Rakesh Kumar. He is
being produced before the Hon’ble Court.
