*INTERSTATE FAKE JOB CONSULTANCY RACKET BUSTED BY SOT MALKAJGIRI ZONE TEAM & UPPAL POLICE, RACHAKONDA COMMISSIONERATE AND APPREHENDED (4) PERSONS AND SEIZED FAKE APPOINTMENT LETTERS AND PROPERTY WORTH OF Rs. 35 LAKHS FROM THEIR POSSESSION.*

The sleuths of SOT, MALKAJGIRI ZONE AND UPPAL POLICE IN A JOINT OPERATION APPREHENDED FAKE JOB CONSULTANCY RACKET AND APPREHENDED FOUR ACCUSED PERSONS VIZ., 1. KALU CHARAN PANDA @ AJAY @ MANOJ, 2. MURALI KRISHNA @ VISHWANATH GUPTA, 3. M.RAGHAVA REDDY AND 4. SMT. K.SANDHYA RANI on 20.02.2019 at 1400 hrs from Room.No. 106, Vishnu Priya Residency, L.B Nagar main road, L.B Nagar for cheating unemployed youth with a promise of providing jobs to them in State Bank of India, Railway Recruitment Board and Income tax Department and collected more than 3 crores of rupees from more than (100) students and issued fake appointment letters and escaped. The police seized 1) Fake Appointment Letters pertaining to SBI, RRB, 2) Net cash of Rs. 10.5 lakhs, 3) Three Laptops, 4) One BR-V HONDA CAR WORTH Rs. 15 LAKHS, 5. One PRINTER, 6) Six Cell PHONES all worth Rs. 35 lakhs and one Passport of Kalu Charan Panda from their possession.

1. Kalu Charan Panda @ Ajay @ Manoj @ Karan S/o Bhagavathi Panda, aged 33 yrs, Caste: Brahmin, Occ: Marketing business, R/o 5D, Hatiara Nopada Road, near Chinar Park, Rajar Hat, Kolkatta, N/o Lati (v), Bharampur Taluq, Ganjam district of Orissa State.
2. Murali Krishna Vallabhapuram @ Vishwanath Guptha @ Avinash @ Prashanth Pandey S/o late Banda Rathnam, aged 43 yrs, Caste: Kapu, Occ: Training, R/o Flat.No. 905, LH 14, Lamco Hills, Manikonda, Madhapur, N/o Peddapadu road, Srikakulam, A.P State.
3. Medapati Veera Raghava Reddy S/o M.Srinivas Reddy, aged 25 yrs, Occ: Pvt. Employee, Caste: OC-Reddy, R/o Platinum Villa, 866 & 867, Plot.No. 101, HMT Colony, Miyapur, N/o H.No. 31-33-14, MIG-II-14, Rajeev Nagar Colony, Kurmanapalem, Vishakapatnam, A.P State.
4. Smt. Kadiyala Sandhya Rani W/o K.Rajashekar, aged 40 yrs, Caste: Chowdhary, Occ: Job Consultancy, R/o Nehru Nagar Second lane, Guntur town, A.P State.
5. Chintakindi Srikanth @ Sudham Varma @ Sudham S/o Krishna Hari age: 30 years, Occ: Private employee, R/o 1-32, Kalavancha, Near Govt school, Shanti nagar, Vanasthalipuram N/o Tanguturu village, Alair Mandal, Yadari Bhongir District. (Arrested on 18-02-2019 and produced in the court and lodged in Cherlapally Jail).

*Brief Facts:* The accused Kalu Charan Panda @ Ajay @ Manoj @ Karan is native of Berumpur, Odisha State who studied Intermediate and settled in Kolkatta five years back. He along with his friends Kalinath Roy, Rajiv Karthik, Hemanth, Anil and others formed into a gang and hatched plan to start job consultancy agency at Kolkatta to cheat unemployed students by way of offering jobs in State Bank of India, Railway Recruitment Board, Income tax Department through Back door entry.

As such, first they took a flat at Kavi Narzul, Garia, Kolkatta on rental basis and named it as SBI TRAINING CENTRE and collected the job consultancies contact numbers through online of all states and called them to Kolkatta and informed them to send students as they will provide jobs in SBI/RRB/INCOME TAX DEPARTMENTS as they knew officials who will provide jobs secretly by taking cash from Rs. 10 to 15 lakhs by back door entry.

Kalu Charan Panda @ Ajay met Chinthakindi Srikanth @ Sudham Varma at Hyderabad while he was working in a consultancy office at Hyderabad in the year-2015 and they both exchanged their mobile numbers. As such, in the year-2017 Kalu Charan Panda contacted Srikanth and asked him to come to Kolkatta for discussion as there are job opportunities at Kolkotta in SBI/RRB/INCOME TAX DEPARTMENTS and Srikanth met him at Kolkatta and after their discussion Srikanth joined in their group and agreed to bring students on commission basis.

The said Chinthakindi Srikanth changed his name to Sudham @ Sudham Verma and took a house for rent and staying alone in that flat at Kolkatta. As such, Srikanth with his friends Rajiv Karthik, M.Ashok Rao & Venkat Sirish arranged four candidates namely 1. Kethavath Mohan Naik, 2. Banoth Mohan, 3. P.Kishan and 4. J. Ramesh from Hyderabad and approached Chintakindi Srikanth as Sudham who is resident of Kolkatta and collected a total amount of about Rs. 53.5 lakhs and joined them in their SBI Training centre at Kolkotta on 3 months training course with other students. After completion of three months training, Kalu Charan Panda @ Ajay and his associates prepared fake appointment letters by forging signatures of the SBI officials and by putting fake stamps. Later, four more students from Miryalaguda viz., 1. Maloth Ramesh 2. Kethavath Ashok, 3. Kurra Vishnu and 4. Yatham Mahesh who paid a total amount of about Rs. 43.5 lakhs to Srikanth @ Sudham at Kolkatta.

Further, Murali Krishna @ Vishwanath who is native of Srikakulam used to conduct training classes to the students on every alternate days to make them believe that this is a genuine training centre, so that, these students will inform to other students to join them in the same consultancy. As per their plan, many students from different places started contacting them and joined training course by paying them lakhs of rupees.

At the same time, one Sandhya Rani who is native of Guntur and running Job consultancy has sent about (35) students from Vizag, Vizianagaram, Prakasham for providing jobs in SBI/RRB and where she collected a total amount of Rs. 1.6 Crores from the students and gave an amount of Rs. 80 lakhs to Sudham through Raghava Reddy and Rs. 80 lakhs to Kalu Charan Panda @ Ajay directly. As such, all the students who undergone three months training at kolkotta and received fake appointment letters and then both Sudham and Kalu Charan Panda and their associates switched off their mobile numbers by vacating the training centre at Kolkatta.

As such, Murali Krishna @ Vishwanath who is tutor in the said SBI Training Centre at Kolkatta and his wife Smt. Rama Prasanni also send students from Vizag, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam and collected lakhs of rupees from them by way of providing jobs on commission basis.

All this gang members cheated for about more than (100) students and collected a total amount of about Rs. 3 to 4 crores from unemployed students to provide them jobs through back door entries in SBI/RRB/IT Departments and after collecting total amount, they all escaped by switching off their mobile numbers and by closing the training centre at Kolkatta.

Kalu Charan Panda @ Ajay received total amount of about Rs. 1.5 crore rupees towards his share amount and from which he has purchased as:

1. Entered into sale deed agreement for purchasing two COSTLY FLATs at CHINAR PARK area at Kolkotta by paying Rs. 50 lakhs as advance to the builder and spent an amount of Rs. 15 lakhs for interior design in the said flats.
2. Purchased one BRV Honda Car Br.No. WB 02 AM 3369 worth 15 lakhs rupees.
3. Purchased Gold Ornaments i.e., One gold chain and one gold ring, wg. About 2 tulas. 
4. Spent Money Lavishly with his friends Hemanth and others at BANGKOK and other places. 
5. Purchased costly house hold articles.

  Chinthakindi Srikanth @ SUDHAM Varma received about 80 lakhs as his share and he purchased One Swift Dezire Car Br.No. TS O7 GD 3339, Gold Ornaments and kept lakhs of rupees with his family members and the remaining lakhs amount was spent for his lavish needs.   

  All these gang members are very popular in Dharamthala, Chandini chowk areas of Kolkatta as they are regular customers of DANCE BARS and everyday they used to spent lakhs of rupees by throwing on the Dance bar girls.

At present the main Accused Kalu Charan Panda @ Ajay @ Manoj who is absconding since April-2018 is apprehended along with his associates Murali Krishna @ Vishwanath, Raghava Reddy and Smt. K.Sandhya Rani are arrested and the absconding accused 1. Kalinath Roy R/o Kolkatta, 2. Hemanth R/o Kolkotta and N/o Barampur, ODISHA, 3. Anil R/o Kolkotta, 4. Rajiv Karthik @ Sameer R/o: Kolkotta, 5. Panuganti Venkatesh @ VekataSirish R/o Ananthapur, 6. M.Ashok Rao R/o Hyderabad and 7. Alok Varma R/o Kolkatta are to be apprehended.

  The sleuths of SOT Malkajgiri and Uppal Police have seized the following items from their possession:-
1. Fake Appointment Letters of SBI, RRB.
2. Net Cash of Rs. 10.5 Lakhs
3. HONDA BR-V CAR worth 15 lakhs.
4. Gold Ornaments wg. 7 Tulas.
5. Three Laptops with One Colour Printer.
6. One Apple Phone, One VIVO Phone and four different model cell phones and one passport of the accused Kalu Charan Panda @ Ajay @ Manoj.
7. Sale deed agreement copy of purchased flats at Kolkatta.

It is an appeal to the unemployed students and parents to not to believe the private Job Consultancies who are promising to provide jobs through back door entry process and to not to waste their hardened money by paying to the cheaters and if anybody calls them by providing job without examinations, immediately give the information to police for taking appropriate action.

The above arrests were made under the direct supervision of Sri. Mahesh M Bhagwat, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda and by Sri J.Surender Reddy, Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police, SOT Rachakonda and by G.Naveen Kumar, S.Ravi Babu Inspectors and SIs K.S.Rathnam, Avinash Babu and staff of SOT and Uppal PS.
