PRESS RELEASE The Cyber Crimes PS, Detective Department, Hyderabad City have arrested accused persons 1) Ajay Lamba R/o Dabri, Delhi N/o Sirsa, Haryana State 2) Hemanth Kumar R/o Dabri, Delhi N/o Sirsa, Haryana State who were cheating innocent public in guise of gift/praccel in Cr. No. 407/2018, U/s 419, 420 IPC & Sec 66 (D) (D) of ITA Act of PS Cyber Crime and brought them to Hyderabad on transit warrant. FACTS OF THE CASE: The facts of the case are that on 12-12-2018 received a complaint from a lady wherein she stated that she had friendship with unknown person in social media, later he contacted in whatsapp saying that he is sending a parcel for her with gifts. Then, one day the Delhi Customs officials called her saying that she has to pay for income tax, anti-laundering, F.B.I authority etc., In this way they lured her to an amount of Rs. 7 lakhs.
