Election authority, GHMC illegally shift 10k voters of Azampura to Chawni: MBT Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) has alleged discrepancies in the final voter list issued by Azampura Municipal Division. The party has written to Telangana State Election Commission stating that more than 10,000 voters of Chanchalguda, which are part of the ward 28-Azampura Municipal Division, have been shown as voters of ward 29-Chawni Municipal Division. The party alleged that this had been done intentionally to help the AIMIM candidate. Such fraud was also committed during 2015 GHMC elections at the insistence of AIMIM by GHMC. MBT had approached the High Court which came to our rescue by restoring the original voter list of Azampura Division. This time the same mischief has been committed.
