Speaking in this meeting, the Commissioner said that since the Cricket World Cup competitions are prestigious, he advised the officials to take care to ensure that there are no peace and security issues and no untoward incident takes place. The authorities have been advised to ensure that armed arrangements are made as large numbers of sports fans are likely to come to watch the matches.
