Sri C.V.Anand, IPS., Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City inaugurated the newly purchased (1000) Manpacks at Traffic Complex, Nampally, Hyderabad on 15.09.2023. 

Sri G. Sudheer Babu, IPS., Addl. Commissioner of Police, Traffic Hyderabad speaking on the occasion, pointed out that the Hyderabad City Police Technology has went to next level by procuring sophisticated communication sets.  This is the first time in India that any Commissionerate/State has procured 1000 communication sets at a time.  Addl. CP Traffic while presenting the sets have recoiled the advantages of this new sets: 

 Compatible with existing MTX 960 Handheld sets.

 Can be utilised after up-gradation of present APCO16 Trunking system to future APCO 25 P-II  Trunking system

 Dual microphones- provides  noise Suppression technology locates the talker and cancels out any background noise (due to which communication will be clear during major bandobust events viz., Ganesh Procession, Moharrum, Major Rallies etc.)

While addressing the gathering, Sri C.V. Anand IPS., CP Hyderabad has held that the Addl. CP Traffic has made hard work to procure these Manpack sets and had several deliberations with the Motorola Company and obtained permission from Wireless Planning and Coordination (WPC) wing of Delhi.  He said that budget of Rs. 10 Crore was sanctioned to purchase these Manpack Sets.  In this gathering he affirmed that the works for up gradation of New communication system will be completed shortly for effective and moderate communication system in Hyderabad City.  Further, CP Hyderabad congratulated Hyderabad Traffic Police for hard work in implementation of Operation ROPE and other aspects of traffic management in Hyderabad City. Also he assured for the welfare of the Traffic Police Staff and providing of sophisticated equipment in future.
