*SCSC has conducted it's Annual General body meeting and close to 200 people from their member companies have attended the AGM at Hotel Avasa*


*-This AGM was presided over by Mr Stephen Raveendra, as a Honorary Chairman of SCSC*


-Mr Ramesh Kaza, Secretary General has welcomed the gathering and extended his warm wishes to all member companies who were present.  Some of the highlights of various initiatives of SCSC are  Centre of Excellence for Cyber Security – TSPCC launched4 Scorpios  were augmented for  better patrolling in upcoming areas like Tellapur etc. 

A record  of 122 Cyber Safety awareness sessions.


- Dilsey sessions were conducted by Cyber Security forum, benefitting close to 25,000 citizens

Launch of Safety Clubs initiative for Schools and within a short period of time 41 schools were covered & no. of students involved in this is around 22000 school students in Cyberabad.


12 Traffic Task force vehicles were launched for better traffic control at Cyberabad. 


5 more new  She Shuttles launched during the year – 4 in  IT Corridor & in Pharma, taking the total number. of SHE Shuttles to 17, benefitting close to 1.3 lakh women every month. WIth the growing real estate, a Safety awareness program for Construction workers got launched & 11 large sites were covered - covering 6000 migration workers. 

An Interaction meeting with CEOs of large IT  & ITes organizations of the IT corridor and discussed various points on how to ease traffic congestion in IT Corridor and invited suggestions from the industry on how to reduce travel time for the IT workforce, who enters the IT Corridor every day to work. 


16 Road safety trainings were conducted at various organizations on creating road safety awareness among users of the road, covering over 5000 citizens. 


9 Basic Life Support  programs were conducted- where close to 600 citizens have been trained on CPR, how to handle any emergencies etc. 

Journalism in the Digital Age is Tough – Fact or Fiction? - a workshop was conducted for journalists on how to identify fake news and how to verify the fakeness of the news etc. 


Addressing the gathering, Mr Stephen Raveendra, IPS., appreciated the member companies and various volunteers from various walks of life - who are doing a great service as Traffic Volunteers,  Cyber safety warriors - Dilsey Volunteers,  Sanghamithras & Margadarshaks helping women in distress. He said the launch of Centre of Excellence - Telangana State Police Centre of excellence for Cyber safety was set up in record speed of less than 6 months and shared the ground breaking work done by COE in all these months  and appreciated the contributions by the IT industry for setting up of the same. 


Later, the previous office bearers, Mr Krishna Yedula & others were felicitated for their excellent contribution done by them.  He said SCSC has been very fortunate to get dedicated office bearers who have been doing a great job of servicing society since 2006.   


Addressing the gathering Mr Ramesh Kaza, the Secretary General of SCSC said the top priority for SCSC for the coming years would be to intensify the cyber safety awareness programs to reach a much larger audience.   Other priority would be to create a lot of awareness on health safety for the IT workforce, as the only way to do this is prevention, as  a majority of the IT work force is leading a sedentary lifestyle.  He said that  Dr Chinna Babu, head of Oncology of Yashoda Hospital Hi-Tech city and Dr Rajiv, Head of Cardiology for AIG hospitals who would be working as a team to create these health awareness programs for the benefit of IT & ITes workforce.
