TRAFFIC ADVISORY


In connection with the visit of Shri Amith Shah, Hon’ble Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation Minister, Govt. of India to Secunderabad Parade Grounds to attend BJP meeting. Important leaders and activists of BJP will visit to Secunderabad Parade Grounds.  Moderate traffic congestion is expected at surrounding areas of Parade Grounds on 17-09-2023 from 0700 hrs to 1300 hrs. 


General Public is requested to avoid roads towards Parade Grounds, Secunderabad and surrounding roads of Parade Ground. Road between Tivoli X-roads to Plaza X-roads will be closed.


General passengers who are intending to travel by morning trains of Secunderabad Railway Station and JBS are requested to start early to reach Railway station in time as there will be traffic congestion at the following junctions (1) Chilakalguda X roads, (2) Alugaddabai X roads, (3) Sangeeth X roads, (4) YMCA X roads, (5) Patny X roads, (6) SBH X roads,   (7) Plaza, (8) CTO Junction, (9) Brookbond junction, (10) Tivoli Junction, (11) SweekarUpakar junction, (12) Secunderabad Club, (13) Trimulgherry X roads, (14) Tadbund X roads (15) Centre Point, (16) Diamond Point  (17) Bowenpally  X roads and (18) Rasoolpura, Begumpet. 


DIVERSION POINTS FOR GENERAL PUBLIC:

1. Traffic Coming from CTO towards Secunderabad will not be allowed from road beside parade ground. Plaza X-roads to SBI X-road road will be closed. Traffic allowed through YMCA flyover only.


2. Traffic coming from Bowenpally, Tadbund, towards Tivoli will be diverted at Brookbond towards CTO


3. Traffic coming from Karkhana, JBS towards SBH-Patny will be diverted at Sweekar Upakar towards Tivoli-Brook bond - Balamrai-CTO


4. Traffic coming from Karkhana, JBS towards SBH-Patny will be diverted at Sweekar Upakar towards YMCA – Clock Tower – Patny (Depending on situation)


5. Traffic coming from SBI, vehicles will not be allowed towards Sweekar Upakar, The same will be diverted towards YMCA or CTO.


6. Traffic Coming from RTA Trimulgherry, Karkhana, Malkajgiri, Safilguda towards Plaza will be diverted at Tivoli towards Sweekar-upakar, YMCA or Brook bond, Balamrai, CTO  


7. Road between Tivoli X-roads to Plaza X-roads both sides will be closed.


Aspirants who are attending to the UPSC Civil Service Mains Exam will be allowed at the barricading points on showing their Hall Ticket/ID Card.


Citizens are requested to take alternate routes to reach their destinations and avoid above mentioned routes during the specified timings and co-operate with the Traffic Police.  Any inconvenience in commuting, please contact Hyderabad Traffic Police Helpline 9010203626.
