Rachakonda Commissioner DS Chauhan IPS said that all kinds of security arrangements should be made so that the immersion can take place peacefully.

  Rachakonda CP Sri DS Chauhan organized a coordination meeting with the officials of various government departments at the Commissioner's office in IPS Neredmet regarding the preparations and precautions to be taken for Ganesh Navratri and Immersion, which will be held grandly under the jurisdiction of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.

Later, the CP addressed them and said that with the collective efforts and coordination of the officers and staff of the police department as well as other government departments, Ganesh immersion can be conducted peacefully.

   By organizing coordination meetings with the Rachakonda Police officers, GHMC, Fire Department, Water Drainage Department, Medical Department, Electricity, Transport and other departments related to the management and security of Ganesh Navratri celebrations, arrangements to be made and precautions to be taken on the occasion of Ganesh celebrations can be discussed. He said that it will be possible to conduct without any security problem.

Directing the officials to take all necessary security measures to conduct the Ganesh idol immersion peacefully, the CP said that many ponds, ponds, small ponds and lakes have been notified for the immersion. The CP suggested that devotees should come for immersion only in ponds and lakes established and notified by the government under the jurisdiction of GHMC and Rachakonda Police Commissionerate. The CP directed the staff to provide necessary facilities to the devotees at the immersion sites.

On the occasion of immersion, street lights, flood lights and necessary cranes should be arranged at ponds and other immersion water bodies in advance in coordination with GHMC officials. The crane operators are advised to check the readiness of the crane from time to time so that the crane does not stop. For the convenience of the devotees, tents, electric lights, barricades, fresh water facility, mobile toilets and medical facilities are being arranged at the banks of the Ganesh immersion pond.

The officials of the electricity department should be vigilant and provide uninterrupted power supply for 24 hours. People should see that there are no potholes on the roads leading to the immersion, and road repair work and sanitization work should be undertaken without any problems for the devotees. He said that necessary police equipment, swimmers, huge cranes, lightings and CCTV cameras used for immersion are being arranged.

  The CP reiterated that the devotees should take necessary permissions from the police, follow the instructions of the GHMC, and that the devotees and organizers should follow security measures till the completion of the festival. The CP asked the organizers to cooperate in order to conduct the Ganesh festival peacefully.

 రాచకొండ పోలీస్ కమిషనరేట్ పరిధిలోని ఘనంగా నిర్వహించనున్న గణేష్ నవరాత్రులు మరియు నిమజ్జనానికి చేయవలసిన ఏర్పాట్లు, తీసుకోవలసిన జాగ్రత్తల మీద రాచకొండ సీపీ శ్రీ డిఎస్ చౌహన్ ఐపీఎస్  నేరేడ్మెట్ లోని కమిషనర్ కార్యాలయంలో వివిధ ప్రభుత్వ శాఖల అధికారులతో సమన్వయ సమావేశం ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.  

అనంతరం సీపీ మాట్లాడుతూ.. పోలీస్ శాఖతోపాటు ఇతర అన్ని ప్రభుత్వ శాఖల అధికారులు మరియు సిబ్బంది సమిష్టి కృషి, సమన్వయంతోనే గణేష్ నిమజ్జనం ప్రశాంతంగా నిర్వహించగలమని వారిని ఉద్దేశించి అన్నారు.

  గణేష్ నవరాత్రోత్సవాల ఏర్పాట్ల నిర్వహణ, భద్రతకు సంబంధించిన *రాచకొండ పోలీస్ అధికారులు, జీహెచ్ఎంసీ, అగ్నిమాపక శాఖ, నీటి పారుదల శాఖ, వైద్య శాఖ, విద్యుత్, రవాణా తదితర శాఖల అధికారులతో* సమన్వయ సమావేశాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయడం ద్వారా గణేష్ ఉత్సవాల సందర్భంగా చేయవలసిన ఏర్పాట్లు, తీసుకోవలసిన జాగ్రత్తల మీద చర్చించడానికి వీలుంటుందని, నిమజ్జనం ప్రశాంతంగా ఎటువంటి శాంతి భద్రతల సమస్య లేకుండా నిర్వహించే అవకాశం ఉంటుందన్నారు.

గణేష్ విగ్రహ నిమజ్జనాన్ని శాంతియుతంగా నిర్వహించేందుకు అవసరమైన అన్ని భద్రతా చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించిన సీపీ, పలు చెరువులు, కుంటలు, చిన్న చెరువులు, సరస్సులను నిమజ్జనానికి నోటిఫై చేశామని పేర్కొన్నారు. జీహెచ్‌ఎంసీ, రాచకొండ పోలీస్‌ కమిషనరేట్‌ పరిధిలో ప్రభుత్వం నోటిఫై చేసి, ఏర్పాటు చేసిన చెరువులు, సరస్సుల్లో మాత్రమే నిమజ్జనానికి భక్తులు రావాలని సీపీ సూచించారు.  నిమజ్జన ప్రదేశాల్లో భక్తులకు కావాల్సిన సౌకర్యాలు కల్పించాలని సిబ్బందిని సీపీ ఆదేశించారు.

నిమజ్జనం సందర్భంగా GHMC అధికారుల సమన్వయంతో ముందుగానే చెరువులు, ఇతర నిమజ్జన నీటి కుంటల వద్ద వీధి దీపాలు, ఫ్లడ్ లైట్లు, అవసరమున్న మేర క్రేన్లను ఏర్పాటు చేసుకోవాలన్నారు. క్రేన్ ఆగిపోకుండా ఎప్పటికప్పుడు క్రేన్ ఆపరేటర్లు రెడీగా ఉందేవిదంగ చూసుకోవాలని సూచించారు. భక్తుల సౌకర్యార్థం గణేశ్ నిమజ్జనం జరిగే చెరువు కట్టల వద్ద టెంట్లు, విద్యుత్‌ లైట్లను, బారికేడ్లను, మంచినీటి సౌకర్యం, మొబైల్  టాయిలెట్ల ఏర్పాటు, వైద్య సదుపాయాలను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నామన్నారు. 

విద్యుత్ శాఖ అధికారులు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని, 24 గంటలు నిరంతరాయంగా విద్యుత్తు సరఫరా చేయాలన్నారు. నిమజ్జనానికి చేరుకునే దారుల్లో రోడ్లమీద ఎటువంటి ఆటంకాలు గుంతలు లేకుండా చూడాలని ప్రజలు, భక్తులకు ఇబ్బందులు లేకుండా రోడ్డు మరమ్మతు పనులు, శానిటైజేషన్ పనులను చేపట్టాలన్నారు. నిమజ్జనోత్సవానికి అవసరమైన పోలీస్ బందోబస్తు, స్విమర్స్, నిమజ్జనానికి వినియోగించే భారీ క్రేన్స్, లైటింగ్స్, సీసీ టీవీ కెమెరాలు ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.

 భక్తులకు కావాల్సిన అనుమతులు పోలీసుల నుంచి తీసుకోవాలని, జీహెచ్‌ఎంసీ సూచనలను పాటించాలని, ఉత్సవాలు పూర్తయ్యే వరకు భక్తులు, నిర్వాహకులు భద్రతా చర్యలు పాటించాలని సీపీ పునరుద్ఘాటించారు.  గణేష్ ఉత్సవాలు ప్రశాంతంగా నిర్వహించేందుకు నిర్వాహకులు సహకరించాలని సీపీ కోరారు.
