Maintenance of peace and security, review of staff performance and Commissioner Shri DS Chauhan IPS made a surprise visit to Medipalli, Uppal, Nagol, LBnagar, Meerpet, Vanasthalipuram, Abdullapurmet, Sarurnagar, Chaitanyapuri Police Stations under Rachakonda Commissionerate on Monday late night and inspected the performance of the staff as part of the crime control measures. On this occasion, the performance of staff, patrol cars and blue colts, constables and other ranks of officers on night duty at the station was examined. Staff are advised to be available to the public at all times. He said that they should work more diligently in night duties so that various types of anti-social activities like smuggling can be prevented. Night workers, women and others are advised to ensure that there is no harassment. He said that phone calls for emergency help should be responded to immediately and justice should be provided to the victims. The officials have been advised to monitor the staff on duty to ensure that they work effectively. The personnel were advised to visit the vehicle checking points of the police stations to prevent any untoward activities and to curb the smuggling of ganja
