            On 26-09-2023, Sri Durga Prasad, Hon’ble Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, has pronounced the Judgment in CC.No.658/2022 in Crime No. 399/2022, U/s.379, 411 & 102 Cr.P.C.  wherein the accused person Tekumalla Akash @ Sonu was found guilty and sentenced to undergo 15 months Simple Imprisonment.

GIST OF THE CASE:

This is a case of Ordinary Theft (Auto Mobile Theft) occurred on 24-11-2022, wherein the accused person Tekumalla Akash @ Sonu  committed theft of two wheeler vehicle of the complainant. 

   

INVESTIGATION & PROSECUTION:

        On 25-11-2022 at 2200 hours, the complainant Sri J. Pramod Sankala S/o Hemanth Kumar, age 22 yrs, Occ: Security Guard, R/o 18-7-658/12/1, Opp. Old PS Chatrinaka, Hyderabad, lodged complaint at PS Chatrinaka. Soon after receiving the complaint, registered a case in Crime No.399/2022, U/s.379 IPC and investigation was taken up by the then S.I. of PS Chatrinaka Sri M.  Mahesh.  During the course of investigation, the accused person Tekumalla Akash @ Sonu was arrested on 28-11-2022. In this case (12) witnesses were cited and laid the charge sheet within stipulated time.

Sri D. Durga Prasad, Hon’ble Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, conducted the trial into the matter. During the Trial, the witnesses i.e., (07) members were examined in the Court and all of them has deposed their evidence and answered in cross examination done by defense. Basing on the merits of documentary evidence as well as statements deposed by the witnesses, Sri D. Durga Prasad, Hon’ble Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad,  has pronounced the judgment on 26-09-2023, declaring that the accused is found guilty and to undergo 15 months Simple Imprisonment.
