On 28-07-2023, Smt. T Anitha, Hon’ble XII Addl. Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad has pronounced the Judgment in SCPC NO. 57/2019 in Crime No. 222/2018 U/S 376(3) IPC & SEC 3 R/W 4 of POCSO ACT & Sec. 10 r/w 11 of the prohibition of child marriage act 2006, wherein the accused persons A1: S. Sudhakar S/o S.Jangaiah, A2: S .Jangaiah S/o Pentaiah, A3: S.Sunitha W/o S.Jangaiah and A4: A. Balaiah s/o late Chennaiah were found guilty & sentenced to Rigorous Imprisonment accordingly.
The victim girl who was very much interested in studies and on considering her social and financial condition, the Honorable Court has sanctioned the compensation for an amount of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five lakhs only) to the victim girl.

GIST OF THE CASE:
This is a most heinous crime of “sexual assault on minor girl and child marriage, wherein the accused person A-1 : S. Sudhakar S/o S.Jangaiah committed sexual assault on minor girl and the accused persons A-2 to A-4 to shield the accused person and to close the matter tried to marry the victim girl Aged: 14 years at the time of the offence with the accused person A-1.
INVESTIGATION & PROSECUTION:
On 04.09.2018 at 20.30 hrs, the complainant Smt. B Suvarna, Occ: Supervisor of Integrated Child Development Scheme, Hyderabad reported the matter at PS Chatrinaka. Soon after receiving the complaint, registered a case in Crime No. 222/2018 U/s 376(3) IPC & SEC 3 R/W 4 of POCSO ACT & Sec. 10 r/w 11 of the prohibition of child marriage act 2006 and investigation was taken up by the then SHO of PS Chatrinaka Sri Manoj Kumar, Inspector of Police. During the course of investigation, the accused persons A1: S. Sudhakar S/o S.Jangaiah, A2: S .Jangaiah S/o Pentaiah, A3: S.Sunitha W/o S.Jangaiah and A4: A. Balaiah s/o late Chennaiah were arrested on 06-09-2018 and sent to judicial custody. In this case 17 witnesses were cited and laid the charge sheet within stipulated time.
Smt T ANITHA, Hon’ble XII Addl. Metropolitan Sessions Judge conducted the trial into the matter. During the Trial all the witnesses i.e., 17 members were examined in the Court and all of them has deposed their evidence and answered in cross examination done by defense. Basing on the merits of documentary evidence as well as statements deposed by the witnesses, Smt. T Anitha Hon’ble XII Addl.MSJ Court has pronounced the judgment on 28-07-2023, declaring that the accused A1 to A3 are found guilty and they are Convicted with 20 years RI and fine of Rs. 5000/- and in Default of payment of fine Amount, 6 months SI. The accused A4 is Convicted with 2 years RI and fine of Rs. 5000/- and in Default of payment of fine Amount, 3 months SI
