*ACCUSED GOT 3 YEARS IMPRISONMENT CONVICTION IN OUTRAGING MODESTY OF A WOMAN CASE.*

Cr.No. 81/2015 U/S 354-B, 506 IPC of  Ramannapet PS, Rachakonda.

                          Accused; Kadaiah

Facts of the case are that, on 18.06.2015 at 18:30 hours Ramannapet police received a complaint from the complainant, aged 35 years, R/o Siripuram village of Ramannapet Mandal, wherein she stated that on 12.06.2015 when her husband and son went on their regular works she was alone at her house, mean time at about 12.00 hours the accused Boddupalli Kadaiah, aged 46 years, R/o Siripuram village, Ramannapet came to her house and caught hold her hand, dragged her saree and outraged her modesty. However she escaped from his clutches and came out of her house. On that the accused threatened her with dire consequences to kill his husband and left from the place.

Basing on the complaint a case was registered at Ramannapet PS, during the course of investigation, the IO Sri. G. Rajashekar, SIP Now Inspector of Police Suryapet II Town PS, collected evidence, arrested the accused and remanded him to judicial custody. On completion of the investigation the IO filed Charge sheet. During the trail today i.e., on 10.01.2023 Hon'ble Addl. J.F.C.M Court at Ramannapet Judge Smt. S. Chandana, Convicted the accused Boddupalli Kadaiah, aged 46 years, R/o Siripuram village, Ramannapet to *undergo 3 Years Imprisonment conviction and imposed fine of Rs. 2,000/-.*

In this case the IO Sri. G.Rajashekar, SIP Now Inspector of Police Suryapet II Town, CDO Sri. A.Ramachary, PC-3060 of Ramannapet PS, Addl. PP  Sri. P.Venkata Avinash have attended on behalf of prosecution.

CP Rachakonda Sri. Devendra Singh Chauhan, IPS., appreciated the IO, CDO, Addl. PP, for their efforts in getting the conviction to the accused and announced rewards to them.
