*SON GOT 7 YEARS IMPRISONMENT CONVICTION FOR ATTEMPT TO MURDER HIS FATHER*


Cr.No. 165/2022 U/S 307 IPC of Yacharam PS, Rachakonda.





Facts of the case are that, on 05.05.2022 at 13.00 hours, Yacharam Police received a complaint from Sri. M Srinivas, S/o Venkataiah, Age: 36 years, R/o Pillipally, H/o Nandiwanaparthi Village, Yacharam Mandal wherein he stated that, complainant’s father Sri M. Venkataiah, S/o Late Ramaiah, Age: 67 years was blessed with four children among them accused M Parvathalu, Aged 39 years who had wrongful intention to acquire his father’s land admeasuring 2.20 acres which was left to his father after sharing with his children. The accused Parvathalu clashed many times with his father Venkataiah and threatened him to register the land on his name and when he refused, he bore grudge on his father and waited for an opportunity to kill him. Accordingly on 05.05.2022 about 08.30 hours complainant father Venkataiah went to his agricultural land, meantime accused Parvathalu came with an axe to agriculture farm on his two wheeler and he asked his father to register the land on his name, then his father refused. On that the accused Parvathalu attacked his father with axe indiscriminately on both legs and threw the axe into a nearby pond and fled away.


Basing on the above complaint a case was registered at Yacharam PS, during the course of investigation, the IO Sri. V. Prasad, Sub Inspector of Police, collected evidence, arrested the accused and remanded him to judicial custody. On completion of the investigation the IO filed Charge sheet. During the trail today i.e., on 05.01.2023 Hon'ble ASJ  Court at Ibrahimpatnam Judge Sri. A.Naga Raju convicted the accused Mogilamoni Parvathalu, S/o Venkataiah, Age: 39 years R/o Thadiparthi (v) Yacharm, RR district *to undergo 7 Years Imprisonment conviction and imposed fine of Rs. 5,000/-.*


In this case the IO Sri. V. Prasad, Sub Inspector of Police, Yacharam PS, CDO Sri. M.Bikshapathi of Yacharam PS, Addl. PP Sri. Naresh kumar have attended on behalf of prosecution.


CP Rachakonda Sri. Devendra Singh Chauhan, IPS., appreciated the IO, CDO, Addl. PP, for their efforts in getting the conviction to the accused and announced rewards to them.
