APPREHENDED CELL PHONES SNATCHING GANG - RECOVERED 09 CELL PHONES AND ONE PULSER BIKE – ALL WORTH OF RS. 2 LACKS 

The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad along with Sultan Bazar police apprehended three accused persons and detected (09) cases in the limits of Hyderabad and Rachakonda Police Commissioenrates. Seized 09 Cell Phones and One Bajaj Pulser.

DETAILS OF ACCUSED PERSONS:-

1) Mohd Ishaq, S/o Mohd Jafar, Age: 20 years, Occ: Student,  R/o Madannapet, Hyderabad.

2) Mohd Tahauddin,  S/o Late Md Ahmed, Age:22 years, Occ: Student, R/o. Madannapet, Hyderabad

3) Mohd Kaif, S/o Mohd Ashwaq, Age: 19 years, Occ: Car Denting work, R/o Madannapet, Hyderabad (Receiver)

PROPERTY SEIZED:

1) 09 Cell Phones 

2) One Bajaj Pulser Bike

BRIEF FACTS & MODUS OPERENDI :-

All the three accused persons are childhood friends and all are born and brought up in Madannapet, Hyderabad. The main accused Mohd Ishaq committing offences since 2018 and previously he involved in 04 cell phone snatching cases. He released from jail in the month of April 2022. After releasing from jail he has not changed his mind set and again hatched a plan to commit cell phone snatchings. Further he met with his friend Mohd Tahauddin and both hatched a plan to commit cell phone snatchings. As per their plan first they committed bike theft in the limits of SR Nagar Police Station. In the night time they targets the persons who are alone and passing in isolated areas while speaking on cell phone, by taking an advantage they committed (09) cell phone snatchings from the victims under the limits of Hyderabad and Rachakonda Police Commissionerates.  

Basing on credible information the Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone team along with Sultan Bazar Police apprehended the above said accused and recovered the stolen property. Later, the arrested accused and recovered property handed over to SHO Sultan Bazar Police Station for further action.

The above arrest was made under the supervision of Sri. Chakravarthy Gummi, Dy. Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad City by Sri. S. Raghavendra, Inspector of Police, South Zone and SIs S/Sri V.Narender, N. Srishylam, Shaik Burhan, K. Narsimulu & Staff of South Zone Task Force, Hyderabad City and Sulthan bazar Police.
