Sri C.V.Anand, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City issued preventive detention order under Act No.1 of 1986 (P.D. Act) against Muddunuri Sheshaiah @ Sheshanna @ Peddanna, associate and staunch supporter of slain gangster Nayeemuddin @ Nayeem and ex-naxalite of Peoples War Group (PWG) on 25.12.2022 and lodged him in Central Prison, Chanchalguda, Hyderabad on 27.12.2022. 

He has committed 11 offences including brutal murders of persons viz., Vadthya Ramulu in 2004 at Achampet, Kanaka Chary, a Govt. Teacher in the year 2005 at Mahaboobnagar, Chenchu Govindu in 2005 at Farahabad X Roads of Mahaboobnagar district, Sridhar Reddy at Pahadishareef in 2011, Patolla Govardhan Reddy in the same year at Boggulakunta, Hyderabad, Srinivas Rao, one dismissed constable at Achampet in 2013, ex-naxalite Konapuram Ramulu in 2014 at Nalgonda Town and extortions in the limits of different Police Stations of State of Telangana along with his associates since the year 2004. He was carrying country made firearms to use in the commission of offences. He was also absconding in earlier 5 cases and was concealing himself to evade his apprehension. 


On 27.9.2022, he was caught red-handed by the Golconda Police of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate while he was carrying country made pistol and 5 live rounds vide Cr.No.347/2022 u/s 25 (1) (1A) of Indian Arms Act,1959 of Golconda Police Station. The country made pistol and 5 live rounds have been seized from his possession. He confessed that earlier he supplied country made pistol and 5 live rounds to his associate and realtor Mohd. Abdullah @ Suresh Goud and the same were also seized by Humayun Nagar Police vide Cr.No.168/2022 u/s 25 (1-B) (a) of Indian Arms Act of Humayun Nagar PS.
