NABBED FORMER RANJI CRICKETER FOR TRYING TO DUPE BUSINESSMAN BY IMPERSONATING AS P.A TO HON’BLE MINISTER OF  TELANGANA STATE

 

On Credible information the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team along with Jubilee Hills Police apprehended one habitual cheater Budumuru Nagaraju (ex-Ranji Cricketer of Andhra Pradesh State) by impersonating as Tiru  pathi Reddy P.A  to Hon’ble Minister Sri. Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao for IT E&C, MA&UD and Industries & Commerce Departments of Telangana State and trying to extort money from the management of Drugs & Pharmaceuticals  Company, Hyderabad . 

 DETAILS OF ACCUSED PERSON:- 

Budumuru Nagaraju S/o.  late B.Appala Swamy, age. 25 yrs Occ.  Ex Ranji Cricketer R/o. Yavvaripet village, Polaki Mandal, Srikakulam Dist, AP State, 

(previously arrested in 07 cases at Telangana & AP State) 

 SEIZED MATERIAL :- 

One cell phone model Redmi ( used in the commission of offence) 

 Brief facts of the case 

  The accused Budumuru Nagaraju is native of  Srikakulam Dist, AP State and Ex-Ranji Cricketer from Andhra Pradesh. 

  On 07-11-2020 the accused made a phone call to management of Drugs & Pharmaceuticals  Company, Hyderabad by impersonating as Tirupathi Reddy P.A  to Hon’ble Minister Sri. Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao for IT E&C, MA&UD and Industries & Commerce Departments of Telangana State . Further the accused informed  that the Pollution Control board is going to issue closure notice to their factory and the accused can help them to resolve the problem for which demanded         Rs. 15, 00,000/-.  

  ARREST:- 

  On 15/11/2020 in the night hours on credible information the Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone team along with Police Jubilee Hills PS  laid a trap and apprehended him.

  Previously the accused arrested (07) cases as following: 

  Previously by impersonation as PA to Hon’ble Ministers cheated huge amount from few companies  in the limits of Hyderabad-01, & Cyberabad-02,  Machavaram, Vijayawada-01,  Guntur-01, Nellore -01 & Vishakapatnam -01 .    

  The arrest was made under the supervision of Sri.P.Radhakishan Rao, Dy.Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad by Sri K.Nageswar Rao,  Inspector of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone, Sis Sri. G.Rajashekar Reddy, K.Srikanth, B.Parameshwar and North Zone Task Force  Team, Hyderabad.
