 NABBED A NOTORIOUS DACOITY GANG AND DETECTION OF CASE IN RAIDURGAM PS OF CYBERABAD, COMMISSIONERATE, TELANGANA STATE*

2. Prakash Shahi @ Pratap, S/o. Pradeep Shahi, Age: 39 yrs, R/o. Bovanya Village, Tikapur PS, Kailali Dist., Nepal.

3. Sita Lawar, W/o. Singh Lawar, Age: 25 years, R/o. Balia-(V), Lamki Chuha, Mothipur PS, Kailali Dist., Nepal.

1. Rajender @ Ravi, S/o. Parex Shahi, Age: 28 yrs, R/o Lalu Village, Kulalu Thaluka, kalikote Dist., Nepal. (Driver in the house of Complainant).

2. Devi Ram Damla @ Deepak, S/o. Tika Ram Damla, Age: 31 yrs, R/o Lamki Chuha, Kailali Dist., Nepal.

3. Janki, R/o. Kailali Dist., Nepal (Cook, played a vital role in lacing food with sedatives & served to the victims).

4. Vinod Kamal Shahi, S/o. Kamal Shahi, Age; 30 yrs, R/o. Lamki Chuha, Kailali Dist., Nepal.

5. Bhojal Beeka @ Nithish, R/o. Kailali Dist., Nepal.

6. Manoj Bahadur Shahi, S/o. Prem Bahadur Shahi, Age: 27 yrs,  R/o. Lumki Chuha, Nepal.

Recovery:  Recovered Net Cash of Rs. 5.2 Lacks, Gold ornament net weight about 300 Grams, all Worth of Rs. 20 lakhs.       

Brief Facts of the Case: 

On the intervening night of 05/10/2020 maid, servant and the accused Janki laced food and tea with sedatives (sleeping pills) and served the same to all family members and workers in that house due to which they fell unconscious. She served green tea to complainant Smt. G. Sailaja Reddy, but she had a few sips and did not drink the tea as the taste was different due to which she did not lose her complete consciousness. After the inmates were unconscious, Janki and Manoj passed on information to Netra, who in turn sent 02 persons inside the house and later he also entered the house. They beat and blindfolded Mrs. Sailaja Reddy and threatened to kill her and infant grandson Ayansh if she raised alarm. They searched for gold, jewelry, cash, and other valuables, took them, and decamped with the booty. Since all the family members and drivers were unconscious, the complainant remained inside the house the whole night in a panic. The next morning she unfolded with the help of scissors, called out the neighbouring plot watchman Ramu, who in turn informed her sister’s son Suryanarayana Reddy, residing in the neighbouring house. He shifted her husband, son, daughter-in-law, grandson and driver to hospital for treatment.

Basing on the complaint a case was booked in Raidurgam PS vide Cr. No: 600/2020, U/s 395, 397, 307, 452, 342 IPC

Modus Operandi: 

The dacoity team is headed by the accused Netra Bahadur Shahi. He identifies people who are from his nearby villages and who are working in major cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, etc. as housemaids and servants and befriends them and convinces them for committing the offenses through the use of sleeping pills in their owners food. Once they are convinced, he calls his teammates from different places like Mumbai, Delhi, Udaipur, Surat and plans for committing the offences.

 He gives the maid sleeping pills which are to be mixed in the food and beverages and once the owners are unconscious, the maid calls his team members through mobile. The other team members enter the premises and robs the house of all valuables like Gold, jewellery, silver, cash etc and all the team members reach Nepal through different route’s.

The same gang is involved in previous case of Narsingi PS vide Cr. No: 10/2020 U/s 381, 328 IPC

This hard work done by Raidurgam Inspector Ravinder, SOT Inspector Sudheer, Narsing DI Balraju, Madhapur SOT SI’s Lal madhar, Vijay, Harishankar, under the supervision of DCP Madhapur Venkateshwarlu, ACP Madhapur Raghunandan Rao and Addl DCP SOT Sundeep Cyberabad and in arresting the offender and detecting (02) Dacoity cases of Raidurgam and Narsingi PS limits and seizure of the property worth of Rs. 20 lakhs is highly commendable. All the Police personnel involved in this work will be awarded with suitable rewards.
