PRESS NOTENABBING OF A NOTORIOUS HB BY DAY & NIGHT BURGLAR AVULA KIRAN KUMAR @ RAHUL @ KIRAN AND RECEIVER M. SRINIVASULU

    The Detective Inspector and crime staff of KPHB PS of Madhapur Zone has apprehended a notorious HB offender Avula Kiran Kumar and a receiver by name M. Srinivasulu and detected as many as 10 property offences in the limits of Cyberabad and Hyderabad Commissionerates and recovered 30 tulas gold ornaments, 829 grams of silver items, all worth Rs. 16,70,000/-.

Detailed Profile of Accused: 

Offender Avula Kiran Kumar @ Rahul @ Kiran, aged about 31 years is a resident of Saraswathi Nagar, near Omkar Nagar Bus stop, LB Nagar and native of Avulonibai Village, Uppununthala Mandal, Mahaboob Nagar Dist. He is an active professional HB offender and earlier he was involved in (90) House Breaking night and day offences in Cyberabad, Hyderabad, Rachakonda Commissionerates and Khammam District of Telangana State and Vijayawada, Guntur, Rajahmundry of Andhra Pradesh State. 

Previous Cases in the year 2020:

    Earlier the accused was arrested by Khammam 1 Town PS on 13.04.2020 and on interrogation he has confessed (21) property offences and out of 21 offences, 4 offences committed in the limits of KPHB (1), Miyapur (2) and Kukatpally (1) and the stolen gold and silver ornaments was disposed through receiver M. Srinivasulu with his known jewellery shop persons.  

Modus Operandi:   

The accused person used to move in the city and surrounding areas in day and night times and recce the area for locked houses, apartments and perpetrate the offences either during night or day hours depending on his convenience  by breaking the lock with the help of an Iron rod and he used white colour Honda Activa vehicle for travelling without number plate while going for committing the offences and also to avoid police challans. He always wears black colour helmet. The accused person spends the money by going to pubs and other luxury hotels for his lavish life style. 

On 07.09.2020 in the early morning hours, DI KPHB along with crime staff were performing night patrolling and noticed a person moving in suspicious manner and apprehended him at Addagutta Society, KPHB Colony with an iron rod and he disclosed his name as Avula Kiran Kumar and confessed 10 HB offences in Cyberabad and Hyderabad Commissionerate and these 10 offences were committed by him after getting released from jail on 24.04.2020 i.e., in a short span of 3 months.

Note: He has further confessed that he has disposed the stolen property about 60 tulas of gold ornaments through a receiver M.Srinivasalu to known jewellery shop owners which is yet to be recovered.

Appreciation of Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad.

The police KPHB apprehended the accused person under the supervision of Addl. DCP Madhapur Zone and ACP Kukatpally Division. The Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad has appreciated Inspector Sri S. Laxminarayana, DI P. Saidulu, DSI B. Ramchandraiah all the crime staff of KPHB PS and CCS Madhapur staff for nabbing this offenders & detected (10) fresh HB cases.
