PRESS NOTE2 years Imprisonment In Child Marriage Case.

Of Prohibition Of Child Marriage Act of Pahadishareef ps, Rachakonda Commissionerate:          The facts of the case are that, the accused (A1) Smt. Bhagya Laxmi performed her minor daughter, 17 years marriage with her brother (A2) Anand, 35 years,      R/O Pahadishareef without her consent and forcibly in the year 2015.


In this case the IO Sri. S.Chandra Reddy , Sub- Inspector of Police of Pahadishareef ps arrested the accused and remanded to judicial custody. After completion of investigation, the IO filed charge sheet in the Hon’ble Court. During the trail, the Hon’ble XIV MM Court at LB Nagar convicted the accused A1. Anand to undergo 2 years imprisonment and imposed fine Rs.2000 / and A1 Bhagya Laxmi 1 Year RI and fine Rs 1000/

Sri.  S.Chandra Reddy , Sub- Inspector of Police of Pahadi Shareef  PS, APP Smt. Krishnaveni and Court Duty officer Sri. Sri. Srishylam, PCO of Pahadishareef ps  have attended on behalf of prosecution.
